InDesign...Interview with Emily Fairbank

My reasons for choosing to go ahead with the white background is because I liked the simplistic layout that resembled a comic strip. It was what I had planed to do and I feel I have achieved this. I am very happy with all the separate elements that come together to make the overall layout.
Fonts used in speech bubbles are Maker felt thin 32pt. And for the type used in the interviews questions and answers I used Mistral regual 32pt.

Here I have experimented with different color backgrounds.

Here I added quotations from the interview into the speech bubbles. I wanted to try and achieve a comic strip feel.

I opened up a new file in InDesign and made a bleed 3cm around the whole A3 page.I then added guttering and margins that were exactly the same as my original grid which I used to draw up my initial ideas. I then added the vectored lettering and character into InDesign.

I put the lettering and character into illustrator and vectored them.

This is the initial grid I used to draw out my initial developments for the page layouts.
