Alphabet Soup Part 2. Initial Ideas and name badge

Alphabet Soup developed ideas and final outcome(part 1).

I was given the word 'Divide' from the randomizer. From there I stated  brainstorming and came up with plenty of ideas.

Below are my experiments...

Developed idea... I really like this idea and Im sure that when I apply it 10 different B's the idea will be eye catching and stand out.

Final ideas:Helvetica below is on every one of the ten divided B's.

Curlz Mt.

The King of Queens.

Edwardian script.

Grutch shaded.

Pet bone.

Gill sans ultra bold.

Stencil.

Crunchy taco.

Mistral.

Lucida blackletter.

I really enjoyed  this project and felt that I answered the brief very well. If I was to add to this I would print the examples out rather than  cutting and sticking however it is still very effective and Im happy with the final result.

How to...? Evaluation

I took the role of designing the fourth poster. The map was taken from the college website and edited it in photoshop. All the logos used on the map were sourced from the Internet.

As a group we all chipped in and applied ourselves well, we all took responsibility for one flyer each so everyone had something talk to about. We were all confident with the idea and
everyone produced a flyer that fit in as a set of 5. Coming up with ideas amongst ourselves wasn't hard and fortunately there were no negative parts to this project. I'm happy with where we left it. I don't think doing anything differently would have helped, however we could develop on from this by applying the designs to other paper types and sizes. Also we could get t-shirts with the type screen printed onto them and wear them while distributing the flyers.

How to ? distribution

Below is a list of different ways in which we can distribute the flyers

Firstly we put the flyers in the freshers Don't Panic welcome packs, then we walked round college placing the flyers on various notice boards and stands.
