These song lyrics inspired me to create images based on them. I tried to capture the mood of the lyrics within the imagery.

Rationale.
Brief: Create visual image  from the lyrics of a song artist.


Who needs to know? the audience is broad but it is mainly aimed at people who may have heard the artists music or lyrics or who recognise the artist.


What do they need to know?
The lyrics and the artist need to merge to produce final posters.


What will they respond to?
 Primary: The quotes.


Secondary: Images of artists.

The idea for this came from imagining what the doctor may look like. I wanted to create a welcoming person and an illustration that would portray this.

The idea for this came from merging the different aspects connected to the article.They included making money through saving through a method called 'the latte factor.'

The idea for this came from thinking about there relationship between all the separate aspects of the article:- the relationship between girlfriend and boyfriend, the score system and Facebook. I found 4 separate images that related to these areas then merge them together through a collage.

I first looked at the quote given..."It always rains in your country". Then thought about trying to find the positives of rain and how I could put a positive friendly spin on the quote using type as image.

Then thought about trying to find the positives of rain.

This is my interpretation of rain falling.

I then started thinking about the direction rain fell in and other objects related to rain, and how to illustrate it using the quote it never rains but it pours.

 

I then  used the separate letters from the original quote "It always rains in your country" and used the letters as rain. I used the world rain form the original quote to make it feel like a statement was being said

"Rain. It never rains but it pours." To separate the rain from the word rain I highlighted it in white.

 8 different stencils were used to produce this book/poster. The poster is my interpretation of the word colour

The idea for this eye chart came form looking at football and the different aspects relating to the game.

"12 Hour Day. "

The idea for this came form taking the quote and creating a clock 

using the quote as the hands of the clock.

"Best way to save money".

The idea for this came from thinking of  the different ways to save money. I thought about a piggy bank and connected the image to the type.

"To the moon and back."

The idea for this came from thinking about rockets to the moon. I changed the 'T' into a rocket ship and connected a friendly looking moon to the 'K'.

Typefaces for all 3 posters are Helvetica.
